In September 2017, Hurricane Harvey passed through Texas, affecting the Corpus and surrounding areas, SERVPRO of McAllen assisted the residents with the emergency services.

This costumer was affected for strong winds, loosing almost completely  the roof shingles. In consequence the costumer have several water infiltration on the entire house. After  quick inspection, Our lead tech decided to remove all the ceiling and insulation in the attic.In the living room the protocol indicates removing all the carpets, due to the time that had elapsed since the event happened.

We need 6 technicians for eight hours to complete this entire project.

In September 2017, Hurricane Harvey passed through Texas, affecting the Port Aransas area, SERVPRO of McAllen assisted with the healing of this city.

  Our company assisted customers who were affected by the flood in their first floor and by wind on the second floor. Our team did a flood cut 4' high, demolition of wood floors, carpet, insulation and cabinets. After the demolition, antimicrobial was applied and drying equipment was installed. Due to the water infiltration from roof, our team as well removed all the blown-in insulation in attic space.

After 4 days of drying, our Water restoration Team verified that the structure has reached the material drying goal.

In 2012, a storm hit which caused damages throughout the Rio Grande Valley. This storm was very historic, especially for McAllen.  Large non-stop hail and wind gusts more than 65mph, for only over a period of 30 minutes. This left many homes and businesses heavily damaged.  A wind gust of 74mph (minimal hurricane force) was recorded during this storm.  It some zones, it was recorded to have 4 inches of rain in a 1 hour period. This storm impacted an area of over where 100,000 people inhabit, damage from wind, hail, and flooding were the results.

SERVPRO of McAllen helped more than 100 different homeowners, we assisted with tarps, board ups, water mitigation and re-construction. Our technicians and office staff worked 12-hour shift for 30 days straight to help our community.

The 2013 Colorado floods was a natural disaster occurring in the United States which impacted Colorado heavily. Starting on September 9, 2013 a slow-moving cold front stalled over Colorado, clashing with warm humid monsoonal air from the south. This resulted in heavy rains and catastrophic flooding for the local citizens.

SERVPRO of McAllen responded to this catastrophic event and can assisted 20 homeowners with this unfortunate event.

In August 2016, a prolonged rainfall in southern parts of the United States, Louisiana is the one that received a catastrophic flooding that submerged thousands of homes and businesses.

SERVPRO OF McAllen was able to collaborate with SERVPRO Storm team, helping with this tragedy and easing this process for our clients. Our technicians responded to 15 losses, and thus helping with the relief effort.

After several days of strong rains, a significantly large area of Houston was flooded.           SERVPRO of McAllen responded and managed to mitigate more than 20 homes. Our water mitigation specialists performed at the highest level, when facing a situation that called for it.
